Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Orbit Program Specialist at Iridium Satellite. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and operation of the Iridium satellite constellation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about space exploration and engineering. As an Orbit Program Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies, improve existing systems, and ensure seamless operation of the Iridium network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate and validate system components
  • Develop and maintain documentation and technical guides
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft systems, including power, communication, and navigation
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • US Citizenship required
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
