Dietary Specialist Position

AM Nutrition Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Dietary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for educating patients on the facts and definitions of nutritional concepts and helping them develop a realistic and practical application of nutrition practices.

About the Role:
  • As a Dietary Specialist, you will work closely with patients to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to improve their health and well-being.
  • You will educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and help them set realistic and achievable goals.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing patient correspondence and performing counseling sessions from program workbooks and initial PowerPoint presentations.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patient charts for daily appointments and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Review all patient correspondence and perform counseling sessions from program workbooks and initial PowerPoint presentations.
  • Complete Progress Notes for each patient and check and return emails and messages in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as requested by your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian in good standing with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics/CDR.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition with associated dietetic internship required.
  • Personable, friendly, punctual, and dependable.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented, professional, motivated, and energetic with an interest in health and fitness.
  • Computer proficient (primarily Microsoft Windows and Office Suite).
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Open to relocation with promotion.

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
