Position Overview

Job Title: Unity Programming Instructor (Part-Time)

Core Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of Educational Development, this role involves designing and leading collaborative instructional sessions focused on Unity programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in regular meetings with the Director of Educational Development
  • Design and conduct educational sessions
  • Support students in enhancing their computer science and programming abilities
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Director of Educational Development
  • Exemplify appropriate academic and social conduct
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Capability to work with a diverse student population across various backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Exhibit responsibility, a commitment to assisting others, discretion, and adaptability.
  • Proficient knowledge and capability to teach Unity.
  • Ability to guide students in developing video games using Unity.
  • Skill in gathering and analyzing data to inform future instructional strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously while applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be adept at instructing students with varying levels of experience and interest in multiple programming areas.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree is required, along with teaching or tutoring experience and substantial expertise in computer science and/or programming.
