Job Summary:

Hermitage Hall, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a skilled Weekend Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our mental health team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to mental health assistants to ensure effective programming and quality resident care.
  • Coordinate staff appreciation and events to promote a positive work environment.
  • Supervise staff to ensure adherence to program and unit schedules.
  • Participate in interviewing, training, and identifying opportunities to improve employees' skill base.
  • Set standards for and appraise performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • De-escalate aggression and promote a positive peer culture.
  • Respond to crisis situations and ensure proper notification and documentation.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • OR 5 years of supervisory experience and 4 years of related experience with children/adolescents, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
