Job Summary

The RN Supervisor will be responsible for managing resident and staff activities, ensuring effective quality nursing care is delivered, and implementing plans of care consistently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Care Delivery: Ensure that effective quality nursing care is delivered, which is outcome-focused through the utilization of the nursing process.
  • Plan of Care Implementation: Implement plans of care consistently, effectively, and cost-efficiently with a focus on resident-centered outcomes.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with physicians and/or other healthcare professionals by sharing information relevant to changing plans of care.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate Charge, Treatment, and CNA assignments and activities in an assigned unit and shift.
  • Communication and Evaluation: Ensure timely communication of current treatment and assessment information, efficient delivery of services, and timely compilation of new information.
  • Staff Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate staff activities to ensure that nursing care is carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance with treatment plans and physician's instructions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home leadership capacity.
  • Licensure: Current license to practice as an RN in TN.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or equivalent experience.
Work Schedule

The shift would be from 7a - 3:30p on Thursday, 7a-7p on Saturday and Sunday.
