Job Title: Radiology Technician PRN

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician PRN to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, positioning them correctly and shielding them appropriately.
  • Operate stationary or portable radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for diagnosis.
  • Develop, make copies, and fix x-ray films for use in diagnosing medical problems.
  • Maintain equipment and quarters, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing reassurance and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
  • Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of email systems, such as Microsoft Outlook, sufficient to communicate with internal and external contacts.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel sufficient to create simple documents and enter data.
Work Environment:

Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. Occasional evening and/or weekend work.
