Mammography Technician PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technician PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. As a Mammography Technician PRN, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mammography equipment and maintain records
  • Develop and organize films for presentation to the radiologist
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff
Requirements:
  • Registered with the ARRT (R) & (M) required
  • Certified in Bone Density and Mammo preferred
  • State Certified as a General Radiographer
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children's Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
