About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist PRN will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. This includes operating all equipment utilized within the department and developing and organizing films for presentation to the radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners
  • Develop and organize films for presentation to radiologists
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with patients, colleagues, and medical staff
  • Work under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Associate Degree
