Experience-Based Salary Increases:
• 1 year: $40.04
• 2 years: $41.45
• 3 years: $42.88
• 4 years: $44.38
• 5-6 years: $45.94
• 7-8 years: $47.78
• 9-10 years: $49.68
• 11-12 years: $51.67
• 13-14 years: $53.75
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or in a police vehicle to monitor activities in various areas.
• Investigate accidents, enforce laws, and issue citations as necessary.
• Respond to emergencies and public disturbances, ensuring safety and protection of life and property.
• Collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare reports on incidents.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and participate in community relations activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: None required
Education: High school diploma or GED certificate.
Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. National; at least 21 years of age; valid Alaska Driver's License required by appointment date.
