Cloud FinOps Financial Specialist

Location: Remote (United States)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and execution of essential FinOps principles tailored for Regulatory Technology clientele.
  • Collaborate with clients to analyze cloud expenditure and ensure environmental stability through data-driven insights, consulting, and effective problem resolution.
  • Formulate and deploy FinOps strategies aimed at enhancing cloud expenditure efficiency, incorporating budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation techniques.
  • Perform ongoing evaluations across the cloud infrastructure to manage costs, align actual spending with forecasts, and refine budgetary allocations.
  • Adapt financial policies to accommodate the evolving nature of cloud ecosystems.
  • Implement and uphold governance frameworks across finance, operations, delivery, and procurement to ensure transparency and control.
  • Examine billing information and usage statistics to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' cloud expenditure behaviors and financial structures.
  • Work in conjunction with the Cloud Program team to document processes for consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in a Financial Analyst role, with demonstrable experience in FinOps or Cloud Finance.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and familiarity with cloud financial management solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud cost optimization, budgeting, and forecasting practices.
  • Experience in governance and policy formulation within cloud environments.
  • Proficient in delivering actionable insights derived from data analysis, complemented by strong teamwork abilities.
  • Permanent Residency is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications in cloud technology or financial management.
  • Experience in multi-cloud settings and utilizing automation tools for financial oversight.
