Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS cloud solutions in the public sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to customers and internal stakeholders on cloud-based solutions and their applications in the public sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the public sector to stay informed about their needs and priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cloud computing and the public sector, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud business development, sales, or consulting.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in data modeling and warehousing, data lakes, data integration and ETL process, and big data technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Familiarity with open-source software and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • An Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
