Position Overview:

The role of the Dietitian involves delivering both group and individual educational sessions focused on nutrition and wellness, collaborating as part of a diverse healthcare team.

The successful candidate will execute all responsibilities in alignment with the objectives and mission of Essentia Health.

Experience in providing nutritional counseling or related services to individuals with behavioral health concerns is essential.

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in food, nutrition, or dietetics is required.

Licensure and Certification:

Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association or possess the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential.

For the East Market: After 90 days of employment, the candidate must successfully complete a competency assessment related to nutrition order writing privileges.

For the Central Market: Eligibility for licensure with the State of Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice is required.
