Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Payroll Representative to join our team. As a Payroll Representative, you will be responsible for processing and issuing employee paychecks and vouchers of earnings and deductions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and issue employee paychecks and vouchers of earnings and deductions.
- Apply advanced knowledge of all pay policies to verify, issue, and record adjustments related to prior periods or retroactive increases.
- Provide support for employees, managers, and timekeepers on payroll matters, tax issues, and deductions.
- Update and maintain wage assignments for garnishments, child support orders, bankruptcy orders, student loans, and state and federal tax levies.
- Complete employee wage and employment verification requests.
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in human resources or payroll.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in payroll in a healthcare setting.
