We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Specialist to join our team at AbbVie. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and controls systems in our production manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and controls systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the design, programming, and specification of equipment and implementation of project-related instrumentation and controls hardware.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop functional specifications for controls programming on major equipment systems.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various calibration procedures, including training and qualifying calibration technicians.
- Effectively communicate and document work activities, ensuring seamless collaboration with production support personnel and management.
- High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in electronics technology or equivalent strongly desired.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Senior Instrument Technician or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of validated systems, applicable engineering standards, and facility-specific software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
