At Birdon America, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Planner to join our team. As an Electrical Planner, you will play a critical role in the definition, development, and through-build support of Production Work Packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply extensive craft knowledge and experience to break down and sequence the engineering design within the 3D model and scheduling software.
  • Develop the Electrical build strategy in coordination with Production Management, and define work requirements including budget, logic, task notes, and resources.
  • Establish and maintain a cable management process and toolset for cable life cycle management through design, planning, build, test, and commissioning.
  • Interact with Engineering, Production, Test, and Commissioning throughout the process, facilitating formal stakeholder reviews of the plan intent and schedule at PreBuild Reviews, and Plan of the Week.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of electrical cable management and planning (shipbuilding preferred).
  • Strong MS Office Skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collectively with the Program Team.
  • Experience in shipbuilding.
  • Experience with P6, Business Central.
