Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Sports Medicine/Athletic Trainer to join our team at the College of the Holy Cross. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to our student-athletes, coordinating athletic training services, and working closely with our athletic administration and sports medicine staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to student-athletes, including injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation
  • Coordinate athletic training services, including scheduling, equipment management, and staff supervision
  • Collaborate with athletic administration, coaches, and sports medicine staff to ensure seamless delivery of medical care and athletic training services
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for student-athletes with injuries or illnesses
  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports
  • Assist with the supervision of athletic training students and interns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical techniques and best practices in athletic training
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Board of Certification (BOC) credential
  • State of Massachusetts licensure
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certifications
  • Experience working in a collegiate athletic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
