About the Role:

Aurora Innovations is seeking an experienced Project Management and Controls Expert to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As Head of PMO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project controls processes, ensuring seamless collaboration among project participants, and leading a team of approximately 6 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project controls processes, including cost control, estimation, scheduling, document control, and QA/QC.
  • Lead a team of project management professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and promoting a motivating work culture.
  • Integrate new team members into the project organization, departmental organization, and business processes of Aurora Innovations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Implementation department, Project Development department, and Asset Management department, as well as external engineering firms.

Requirements:

  • University degree in an engineering field.
  • Extensive experience in project management in the construction of process plants on a larger scale.
  • Experience in project controls, cost management, and team leadership.
