Role Objective:
This position is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance, Outage Planning, and Reliability teams.

Leads and ensures the safe and cost-efficient execution of preventive, routine, and outage maintenance operations for a significant hazardous waste incineration facility.

Strives for optimal plant availability through the application of reliability principles and effective asset management.

Key Responsibilities:


Directs major annual plant turnaround projects, which encompass planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, procurement, and execution, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Supervises a diverse maintenance team and external contractors.

Collaborates with the Operations management team to uphold safe work practices, conduct technical verification of tasks, and maintain system integrity during daily facility operations.


Implements Reliability-Based Management practices to maximize uptime for the incinerator complex, including comprehensive program planning and assessment of risk-based reliability activities that influence incinerator performance.

Manages the CMMS program to ensure compliance with best practices and corporate standards.

Engages with internal and external stakeholders regarding new and ongoing initiatives.

Develops and oversees the department's budget, ensuring effective management of costs associated with all maintenance activities and purchases.

Establishes and maintains quality assurance (QA) testing and validation protocols for equipment.


Ensures the execution of maintenance procedures and training programs, enabling maintenance personnel to effectively troubleshoot and maintain equipment while continuously enhancing their skill levels.

Interacts with customers and regulatory bodies during facility audits and inspections.

Supports the PSM Team and other regulatory compliance functions.

Performs additional duties as required.
