About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Operations Manager to lead our Ambulatory Surgery team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing a competent, ethical, safe, and legal environment in the ASC to promote high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians, clinics, consulting nurses, and other departments to coordinate services and make decisions to meet service quality, clinical quality, utilization of resources, and fiscal outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in supervising staff and supporting overall department administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure competency, quality, and adequate staffing levels of healthcare providers in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Develop, monitor, and enforce consistent standards of practice and continuing competency mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain systems to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
  • Lead, manage, recruit, hire, mentor, discipline, and terminate staff when necessary.
  • Prepare and present performance evaluations.
  • Evaluate and support implementation of new technology and equipment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of two years of experience as a supervisor, lead, or charge nurse.

A bachelor's degree in nursing or four years of experience in a directly related field.

A Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire or a Post-Anesthesia Nurse Certificate within 12 months of hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support required at hire.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT required at hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master's degree in nursing or a related field.

Knowledge of Regulatory Agency Standards.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
