Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the General Counsel, the incumbent plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, reviews, and supervises the work of Office of the General Counsel (OGC) legal staff in the performance of litigation and transactional work related to the Delta Conveyance Project, the California Water Commission, and the California Public Records Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the work of OGC legal staff in the performance of litigation and transactional work.
  • Coordinate and review the work of OGC legal staff to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of OGC legal staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the OGC.
Requirements
  • A valid California Drivers License (CDL) is required.
  • An Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
