Responsibilities:

  • Wine Service: Execute wine service with confidence and knowledge, making recommendations to guests.
  • Food and Beverage Pairing: Offer pairing suggestions to guests, showcasing your expertise in food and beverage combinations.
  • Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately record drink orders and process payments in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to our hotel's sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Wisconsin Bartending License: Must be licensed to serve alcohol in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Have a comprehensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, as well as basic math skills and the ability to handle money.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, with the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Bartending Experience: Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
  • Knowledge of Computer Operations: Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic computer operations.
