Your Contribution:

Pearce is on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Financial Analyst to collaborate with the finance leader and executives of the Renewables division. This role will focus on routine and specialized reporting aimed at enhancing financial and operational outcomes, efficiency, and cost control. The selected candidate will engage in the development and execution of standard weekly and monthly reporting packages, report generation, specialized analysis, and data management to provide insights into operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations leadership and the Finance Manager on specialized analysis and in-depth analytical projects aimed at promoting efficiency and refining business processes.
  • Act as a reliable partner in forecasting and budgeting, conducting insightful analyses to enhance understanding, owning essential components of the forecast, and facilitating a consistent approach and reporting across various business units.
  • Engage with the Finance team on margin analysis to derive business insights related to process enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • We seek a collaborative team player and independent thinker capable of executing tasks with minimal supervision, possessing the business acumen to ask insightful questions.
  • Partner with the Data Analytics team to promote process automation, report and dashboard creation, and maintenance for improved operational insights.
  • Master data and reporting systems, facilitating the exchange of best practices.

Core Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
  • Expertise in financial statements and their components.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial or operational analytics, demonstrating a proven track record of career advancement.
  • Proficient Excel skills, including analysis and modeling with extensive data sets, with experience in pivot tables and nested formulas (essential).
  • Experience with Power BI and Salesforce (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior and executive management.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adept at simplifying complex problems into manageable process steps.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
