Job Overview:

The Lead Quantitative Financial Analyst at Bank of America is essential in evaluating numerous models associated with anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, and fraud prevention. This role involves examining model integrity, offering support to colleagues, and establishing audit methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of AML transaction monitoring, economic sanctions, and fraud prevention models
  • Analyze model risk management frameworks and associated controls
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend models and their inherent risks
  • Articulate findings through diverse communication channels
  • Contribute to internal audit projects and validation assessments

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in AML transaction monitoring, economic sanctions, and fraud prevention models
  • 2+ years of experience in AML, Financial Crimes, or Fraud
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and communication abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degrees in a related area
  • Certifications such as CAMS, CIA, CPA, CRCM, or CFE
