Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively influence a patient's journey by: Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments accurately under the supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.

Maintaining and entering patient treatment data into electronic medical records; participating in the clinical training of newly hired therapists and students.

Assisting in the management of patient appointment schedules and ensuring accurate billing information is submitted. Creating custom molds and cutting blocks with precision. Performing basic mu calculations and interpreting computerized treatment plans.



Qualifications:
This position welcomes candidates of all experience levels. Minimum requirements include:

Essential Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies in both Radiography and Radiation Therapy. A valid state license for radiation therapy is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within three months of employment.

What You Bring to the Role:
Experience with VisionRT is preferred. Familiarity with SRS and/or SBRT techniques is advantageous. Experience with CT Simulation is also preferred. The safety of our patients and staff is our utmost priority. Masks may be requested in all Arizona Oncology facilities, regardless of vaccination status. COVID vaccination is recommended.
