Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact a patient's journey by:

  • Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments accurately under the supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Maintaining precise patient treatment records in the electronic medical system and participating in the training of new therapists and students.
  • Assisting in the management of patient appointment schedules and ensuring accurate billing information is submitted.
  • Creating custom molds and cutting blocks with precision.
  • Conducting basic mu calculations.
  • Interpreting computerized treatment plans effectively.

Qualifications:
This position welcomes candidates with varying levels of experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies for both Radiography and Radiation Therapy.
  • Possession of a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VisionRT is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SRS and/or SBRT is preferred.
  • Experience with CT Simulation is a plus.

The safety of our patients and staff is our utmost priority. Masks may be requested in all Arizona Oncology facilities, regardless of vaccination status. COVID vaccination is recommended.
