Job Overview: At Genomenon, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative - Genomics to join our team. This role involves identifying and engaging new business opportunities in the genomics and bioinformatics industry, with a focus on driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

About the Role: As a Sales Development Representative - Genomics, you will work closely with our account managers to develop comprehensive territory plans, manage upsell and renewal opportunities within existing accounts, and prospect new business within clinical territories. You will also be responsible for publishing weekly scorecards on bookings and pipeline performance, and updating and maintaining Salesforce CRM with accurate sales data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, existing contacts, and lists.
  • Manage upsell and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Produce sales forecasts, plans, and budgets.
  • Prospect new business within clinical territories.
  • Publish weekly scorecards on bookings and pipeline performance.
  • Collaborate with account managers to develop comprehensive territory plans.
  • Update and maintain Salesforce CRM with accurate sales data.


About You: To succeed as a Sales Development Representative - Genomics, you should have a highly motivated and results-driven approach, with expertise in genetics and a passion for sales. A background in genetics is required, along with 3+ years of sales experience and 1+ year of Salesforce CRM experience. Experience in the bioinformatics sales industry and a Master's degree or MBA are preferred.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
