Project Engineer - Solid Waste Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Solid Waste Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing projects related to solid waste management, landfill management, and environmental regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and implement solid waste management projects.
  • Assist in project planning, design, and execution to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data relevant to solid waste projects, assisting in the development of technical reports and recommendations.
  • Participate in site visits and fieldwork, conducting inspections, and gathering data to support project objectives.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local solid waste regulations, contributing to project adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field, from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
  • Five (5) - Ten (10) years of experience in the industry.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (NJ, NY and/or PA) or ability to acquire PE through reciprocity.
  • Keen interest in solid waste management and environmental engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
