Developmental Specialist Sleepover

This Opportunity:
At Monarch, we are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Specialist Sleepover to join our team. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to achieve their personal dreams and goals.
What You'll Do:
- Assess each individual's hopes, dreams, and desires, and provide tailored supports to facilitate achievement.
- Support individuals in developing meaningful relationships in their community and with their natural supports.
- Assist individuals in participating fully in their community, aligned with their interests and preferences.
- Ensure the rights of each individual are protected and promoted at all times, and assist in developing advocacy skills and participating in advocacy efforts.
- Provide emotional, physical, and medical support as needed, and facilitate positive relationships using person-centered approaches.
- Contribute to assessment and planning processes, and implement individualized plans to promote self-determination.
- Accurately document progress, complete required paperwork, and maintain certification in relevant training requirements.
- Attend meetings and training sessions, and maintain knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation.
- Drive and travel as required, and arrange for or provide transportation to individuals as needed.
- Assist with emergency procedures and personal safety, and utilize effective judgment in safety-related situations.
- Support new staff and current staff with orientation, mentoring, and training.
Education We're Looking For:
A High School Diploma is required for this role.
Certifications We're Looking For:
A valid USA Driver's License is required.
Experience We're Looking For:
Developmental and Intellectual Disability experience is essential for this role.
Schedule:
This role requires a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Target Weekly Hours:
32 hours per week.
