Loyola University New Orleans College of Law invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position in Civil Law. The successful candidate will teach Louisiana Civil Code courses and contribute to comparative private law scholarship.

The College of Law is located in New Orleans, a culturally diverse city with a unique blend of cuisine, museums, historical sites, and a thriving arts and music scene. Our student population of 500 is supported by over 40 faculty members and active clinics that have spearheaded social justice reform efforts. Summer abroad programs and a location in Louisiana, a "mixed jurisdiction," provide opportunities for comparative and international law scholarship.

As a Civil Law Professor at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, you will have the opportunity to teach and conduct research in a dynamic and supportive academic environment. You will contribute to the development of our students and the advancement of knowledge in the field of Civil Law.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health care, dental, vision, retirement, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, long-term disability, tuition remission, holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
