Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Professional, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including those affecting children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups to promote mental health awareness and education.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our mental health services.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or equivalent licensure in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and teams.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and research methods in mental health.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-licensure experience as a mental health professional in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families, with a focus on trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services, with the ability to connect members with relevant support and services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment, prioritizing collaboration and teamwork.
