Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the Office of the CFO, focusing on financial planning and analysis for corporate service centers.
In this role, you will gather, evaluate, monitor, and report on the organization’s financial activities, ensuring adherence to financial policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations. You will be responsible for financial forecasting and reporting that informs strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while conducting data analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between service centers and accounting departments.
- Detail-oriented and driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Identify business risks and opportunities while pursuing process enhancements.
- Typically follow established procedures to execute routine tasks and resolve standard issues.
- Analyze fundamental information and standard practices to make decisions that affect your work.
- Work as an individual contributor under direct supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Primarily remote work with one day per week at the corporate office.
- Must reside within the designated metropolitan area.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
- MBA in Finance or a Master of Finance, especially for those starting a career in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Typically requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred candidates will have prior internship experience.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, basic MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and statistical analysis.
