A prominent global provider of control, safety, and hazardous area solutions is seeking a Financial Planning Specialist to enhance support across various business sectors. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented analytical thinker with a solid understanding of accounting practices within the global manufacturing sector, along with proficiency in Hyperion/FCC consolidations and planning systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
  • 401k Plan with 3% matching at 100% and 4-6% matching at 50%, fully vested from Day 1

Position Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support forecasting, consolidations, planning, and financial reporting activities.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators.
  • Develop analytical models to assess and enhance profitability.
  • Create systems, methodologies, tools, and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Engage in analytical projects as assigned or initiated independently.
  • Prepare and present data to various stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within a global organization.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion/FCC consolidations and planning systems.
  • Proficient in other modeling software.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI report writing is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential traits.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to network and work cross-functionally.
  • Highly proficient in technology and personal computer skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems for data extraction and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
