Front Desk Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Greater Mental Health of New York. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to clients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage client records, including scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality.
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, and deliver them to staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
- Collaborate with the program/clinic assistant to ensure the availability of client forms and surveys.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; clerical or administrative assistant certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and community agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliability and ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Competitive salary range: $19.00 per hour, based on departmental budget, qualifications, experience, education, and licenses.
- Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid options.
- Paid time off: 25 days of PTO, 12 sick days, and 11 company-paid holidays per year (prorated for part-time staff).
