Special Education Professional in Texas

At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. They will also design and deliver engaging, differentiated instructional activities that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Responsibilities:
- Instruction and Support:
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Design and deliver engaging instructional activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Employ behavioral management strategies.
- Foster a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with general education teachers and support staff.
- Communicate with parents and guardians.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with best practices in special education.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Texas Special Education Certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in special education.
- Experience with various disabilities and learning challenges.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
