Lead Educational Diagnostician for Elementary, Middle and High School

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educational Diagnostician to join our school-based team in Cedar Hill, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in the assessment, diagnosis, and support of students with specific learning disabilities, developmental delays, and academic challenges.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering various assessments to identify students' learning disabilities, developmental delays, and academic challenges. You will work closely with the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to meet the needs of each student. This position involves participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and collaborating closely with the school psychologist to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Administer a variety of assessments to identify students' learning disabilities, developmental delays, and academic challenges.
- IEP Development and Collaboration: Work alongside the MTSS team, special education teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement IEP goals and provide interventions that best support each student's academic needs.
- ARD Participation: Actively participate in ARD meetings, providing valuable input on student evaluations, eligibility, and the development of service plans.
- Data Analysis and Progress Monitoring: Analyze student test data, academic progress, and classroom performance to identify trends and areas for intervention.
- Consultation and Support: Provide consultation to classroom teachers, staff, and parents on how to implement accommodations and interventions based on IEP goals.
- Behavioral and Cognitive Support: Collaborate with the school psychologist to assess and support students with behavioral and cognitive needs, ensuring a holistic approach to student development.
- Test Materials and Office Space: The position includes access to a dedicated office and testing materials necessary for assessments and evaluations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough records of assessments, progress reports, and ARD meeting notes, ensuring compliance with special education laws and regulations.
Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time position available immediately, with openings across elementary, middle, and high school levels. We offer a competitive salary starting at $38/hour for qualified candidates, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications. Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Educational Diagnostician, Special Education, or a related field. A valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is also required. 2+ years of experience as an Educational Diagnostician is preferred, along with strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and diagnostic assessments. Experience working with students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and academic challenges is also highly valued. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
