Location: Hamilton Arms Center

We are thrilled to introduce our innovative in-house rehabilitation model at Hamilton Arms Center. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Specialist to enhance our dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals. Hamilton Arms is recognized for its exceptional quality ratings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the planning, organization, development, and delivery of Occupational Therapy Services in compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.
  • Deliver personalized therapy services to residents based on their individual care plans.
  • Assist in resident evaluation processes as required.
  • Collaborate in creating therapy plans for residents in conjunction with the MDS.
  • Keep the therapy team updated on necessary adjustments to therapy plans to align with resident care goals.
  • Educate residents about occupational therapy procedures and prepare necessary equipment.
  • Engage in discharge planning and the development and implementation of resident care plans and assessments.
  • Coordinate therapy sessions with other departments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols within the therapy department.
  • Maintain the care and organization of supplies, equipment, and the therapy area.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and possess a valid professional license for the state.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting is required, along with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit patience, courtesy, outstanding customer service skills, reliability, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment background check and physical/drug screening is mandatory.
