Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' histories and extract relevant information to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment goals and plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants and aides, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate treatment plans with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions.
  • Implement treatment plans, using evidence-based practices and adapting to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient responses to treatment, modifying plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care.
  • Develop and provide education to patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred).
