Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team of imaging professionals. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, adhering to established protocols and ensuring high-quality images.
- Utilize AIDET to communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the examination process.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical imaging records, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even in high-stress situations
