Behavioral Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Specialist to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will work one-on-one with children with Autism, helping them develop social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
Responsibilities:
• Support children with Autism in developing social skills and communication skills
• Document child progress and milestones
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
Requirements:
• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in child development, camp counselor, paraprofessional, behavioral interventionist, ABA therapist, or behavior technician roles
