Job Summary

">

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Specialist to serve as the front-facing representative for our customers at the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Headquarters in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will support the Personnel and Physical Security team by processing visitors, answering questions, and ensuring compliance with customer and DoD processes.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Greet employees and visitors professionally and ensure timely processing via DISS.">
  • Process employee and visitor badges in accordance with clearance levels and purpose of visit using OnGuard Lenel.">
  • Maintain a positive customer experience through efficient handling of calls, requests, and directives.">
  • Enroll DOD-issued CACs into the Access Control System.">
  • Support courier card processing and identification.">
  • Submit administrative documents and provide general administrative support.">
  • Process employee badge requests and coordinate appointments.">
  • Evaluate and resolve security-related issues promptly.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • An associate degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent (High School/GED with 4+ years of experience).">
  • 3+ years of experience in conducting analytical and support activities related to access control.">
  • An active SECRET-level security clearance or above.">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).">
  • A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.">
