About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Wohlsen Construction. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing all field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to other superintendents, assistant superintendents, project engineers, and site staff.
  • Manage planning, scheduling, and coordination of all work to be done on a given project.
  • Review contract documents and provide guidance on constructability issues.
  • Manage contractors to complete punch lists for incomplete or deficient work and ensure all work is corrected before final inspection.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with trade foremen to discuss project progress, schedule, safety, and upcoming activities.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry and Wohlsen standards.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports using software to track work performed, construction delays, milestones achieved, and weather conditions.
As a Superintendent, You Will:
  • Lead the team in evaluating site conditions, logistics, and procedures to ensure productive work and adherence to Wohlsen's quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with evaluating cost and schedule impacts of project revisions and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Assist the team in performing and maintaining required safety inspections, equipment, and documentation.
  • Work with the project team to schedule equipment and material delivery.
  • Assist with verifying additional work performed by subcontractors.
