Role Purpose Statement

As a key member of the LSG Sky Chefs finance team, the Supply Chain Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in driving business decisions with accurate financial analyses and insights. This position will assist the Finance Director in preparing financial analyses of operations, including financial statements and supporting schedules, to inform daily business decisions and periodic audits of key functional areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) Statements, customer profitability reports, budgets, and interim forecasts, monitoring daily performance and making insightful recommendations to optimize facility profitability.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to identify areas of potential cost savings in manufacturing and develop effective controls to ensure accurate revenue and cost accounting.
  • Assist in preparing accurate financial forecasts and budgets, working closely with the materials manager, buyers, and the LPS Supply Chain Optimization team to ensure proper data quality in SAP MM.
  • Participate in the month-end close accounting processes and perform post-inventory food cost analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective controls to ensure accurate revenue and cost accounting, working closely with the finance team to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the materials manager, buyers, and the LPS Supply Chain Optimization team to identify potential material cost savings and ensure proper data quality in SAP MM.
  • Identify cost and revenue opportunities to support the company's financial goals, working closely with the finance team to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to interact effectively with the team and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
  • Five to seven years of finance experience, with at least one year in cost accounting/controlling in an assembly/production process environment.
