**Job Summary**
At RGBSI, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, including PCBs, schematics, and layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into existing systems and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage design changes and updates to existing systems, focusing on cost savings, mistake correction, and code compliance.
- Resolve design, manufacturing, testing, and quality issues, and validate and release pre-series components and products to production.
- Develop and implement test plans, transfer test stands and technologies to outsourcing suppliers, and evaluate and support second sourcing of alternate components.
- Support manufacturing lines through the Standard Deviation Process for alternative solutions and upgrade processes and equipment for EH&S, cycle time, and quality continuous improvement.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Experience with power systems and electrical design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project engineering tools
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic components
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Experience with DC circuits and circuit analysis, drawing and blueprint reading, and PDM (MEP Drawing Sys.)
- Ability to construct wire diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills
