Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for battery manufacturing facilities, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, process, and controls engineers, to deliver high-quality and integrated mechanical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASME, NFPA, and ASHRAE.
  • Integrate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient practices into your work, reducing the environmental impact of our facilities and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices.
  • Effectively communicate and present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in buildings-related design projects.
  • Experience in battery manufacturing, semi-conductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, such as NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE.
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize effectively, with exceptional organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SKM/ETAP/Easy Power.
  • Professional Engineer License is preferred.
