As a Certified Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:- Gathering patient medical histories
- Clarifying treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations

- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Conducting basic laboratory tests
- Educating patients on medications and dietary requirements
- Administering medications, including injections and vaccinations, as per physician directives
- Processing prescription refills as instructed
- Performing phlebotomy
- Conducting electrocardiograms
- Providing wound care and dressing changes
- Administrative Duties:
Your administrative responsibilities will include:- Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation
- Managing phone communications
- Welcoming and assisting patients
- Updating and organizing patient medical records
- Processing insurance forms and coding
- Coordinating appointment schedules
- Arranging hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Managing correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping tasks
Patient Liaison:
As a key liaison, you will help patients feel comfortable and informed during their visits, ensuring they understand the instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
