Logistics Support Specialist

STS Technical Services is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Support Specialist to support logistics functions by preparing documentation, managing materials, and ensuring that necessary tools and equipment are available and properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, and equipment deployment.
  • Determine required maintenance materials and update records for complex equipment.
  • Develop requisitions, manage records of equipment and repair parts, and track materials for proper storage allocation.
  • Review configuration changes, update technical manuals, and assess logistics impact.
  • Coordinate the verification, inspection, and receipt of incoming materials.
  • Verify incoming materials against paperwork, document discrepancies, and report issues.
  • Handle classified and hazardous materials per company guidelines.
  • Perform shipping duties using manual or power equipment as needed.
  • Utilize computer systems for tracking, logging, and reporting.
  • Adhere to shipping practices, customer requirements, and packaging standards.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • GCSS-Army training.
Preferred Skills:
  • Property book experience.
  • Forklift experience.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of experience with GCSS-Army training and AWRDS experience.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor???s degree preferred.
