At Aerotek, we are seeking a highly skilled Instrument QC Inspector to join our team. As an Instrument QC Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and releasing critical components, documenting inspection activities, and communicating any defects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and release all critical components as assigned
- Document all inspection activities and communicate any defects in a timely manner
- Document nonconformance's against requirement and support investigation into defective materials as needed
- Support Operations teams on prioritizing inspections to ensure continuity in the production process
- Ability to perform material sorting to determine conforming parts from nonconforming parts
- Review production documentation such as engineering drawings or batch records as required
- Identify conformed vs non-conformed parts (what passes and what does not)
- Experience in inspection from a medical device
- Knowledge of tools and equipment needed to complete inspections (test fixtures, calipers, other various measuring equipment)
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment, multi-task and prioritize various inspections
- Working experience in a regulated industry strongly preferred (aerospace, medical device, biotech, etc.)
- Good Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and is comfortable working in a team environment
- Documentation and interdepartmental coordination
- Good Computer Skills. Knowledge of MS Office and Inventory Management system are a plus
- Analytical, meticulous and detail oriented
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- Exercises sound judgment and is analytical in thought
