Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the enhancement and development of existing industrial engineering methodologies while managing development projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with established objectives. You will identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing manufacturing data, workflows, and maintaining regular communication with the factory, utilizing LEAN Six Sigma principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses to determine the most effective sequence of operations and workflows, recommending methods and technologies to maximize the utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to achieve and monitor targets related to Safety, Delivery, Quality, Productivity, and Cost at the unit level through innovative and competitive practices.
- Provide engineering support and guidance for industrial engineering initiatives; design FLOW standards using LEAN methodologies, define production methods, technology, factory layouts, line configurations, material replenishment, and material utilization to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Establish Process FMEA based on workflow analysis.
- Implement manufacturing development actions and CAPEX in accordance with the global manufacturing strategy.
- Assist in NPCI and change management within the unit.
- Comprehend specific client requirements or technical specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to devise new techniques and estimate time requirements and total project costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical).
- 2-3 years of experience in electrical or engineering roles.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery.
- Understanding of common manufacturing methods and processes.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering systems and tools.
- Project management skills and experience.
- Experience in the construction industry and industrial relations management.
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
