Responsibilities
The HR Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the hospital's operations by processing new hire paperwork, conducting background checks, and coordinating drug screens. This position also involves maintaining accurate personnel records, assisting with hospital recognition programs, and providing general HR support to employees.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- General office and/or personnel-related experience, with 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of Lawson software a plus
