About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Nintendo Technology Development in Redmond, Washington. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex engineering projects that meet the needs of our software developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Utilize LLDB to debug embedded systems and identify issues.
  • Software Development: Develop proficiently in C++ and scripting in Python, with a strong focus on object file formats, compiler and linker generation, and existing tooling (ELF, DWARF, GDB Protocol, LLVM).
  • Project Delivery: Deliver end-to-end complex engineering projects, identifying opportunities and risks, and acting as a resource and mentor for other engineers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders, developing new features and protocols, performing performance analysis, optimizing systems, maintaining existing systems, and diagnosing failures.
Requirements
  • Strong Programming Skills: Must have strong programming, problem-solving, and communications skills.
  • Experience: 5+ years of recent experience developing multithreaded software in C++ or C#.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of data structure and algorithms, multithreaded programming, and OS fundamentals.
  • Learning and Development: Motivated to learn game development tools and frameworks.
  • Education: BS or MS in engineering or equivalent.
  • Travel: A valid passport may be required.
What We Offer

This position includes a base salary range of $147,847 - $221,770 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
